When I wrote this song I was thinking specifically about a couple of different people I
knew. Like most of my songs, it is part autobiography, part biography and part fiction.
Everyone who heard early versions of the song had different impressions of who it
was about. All of those were partly right and partly wrong. If it strikes a chord within
you then that is a good thing.
